About Inscrypt 2025

The 21st International Conference on Information Security and Cryptology (INSCRYPT 2025) will be held in Xi'an from October 19th to October 21st, 2025, organized by the State Key Laboratory of Integrated Services Networks (ISN) of Xidian University and the State Key Laboratory of Cyberspace Security Defense (SKLCSD) of the Institute of Information Engineering of Chinese Academy of Science. Inscrypt 2025 seeks high-quality research contributions in the form of well developed papers. Topics of interest encompass research advances in ALL areas of information security, cryptology, and their applications. The conference proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in LNCS series.

Paper Submissions

Authors are invited to submit original papers: they must not substantially duplicate work that any of the authors have published elsewhere or have submitted in parallel to any other conferences that have proceedings or any journal. The proceedings will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (LNCS).


How to submit your paper

Submitted papers must follow the LNCS template from the time they are submitted. The submission must be anonymous, with no author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or obvious references. Submitted papers should be at most 16 pages (using LNCS one-column page format), excluding the bibliography and well-marked appendices, and at most 20 pages total. Committee members are not required to read the appendices, so the paper should be intelligible without them. All submissions must be written in English. Additional ethical guidelines are stipulated in Springer Nature's Code of Conduct for Authors (https://www.springernature.com/gp/authors/book-authors-code-of-conduct) . Submissions not meeting these guidelines risk rejection without consideration of their merits. Authors of accepted papers must agree with Springer LNCS copyright and guarantee that their papers will be presented at the conference. Prof.  Jian Guo

Affiliation: Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

Biography

Guo Jian is an associate professor with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and currently serves as the director with IACR Board. His research interests include specializes in symmetric-key cryptography, including cryptanalysis, lightweight hash functions, block ciphers, authenticated encryption schemes, and their applications.

Prof. Kui Ren

Affiliation: Zhejiang University, China

Biography

Kui Ren is a Professor and Dean of the College of Computer Science and Technology at Zhejiang University, where he also directs the Institute of Cyber Science and Technology. Before that, he was the SUNY Empire Innovation Professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He received his PhD degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Kui’s current research interests include data security, IoT security, AI security, and privacy. In 2017, he received the IEEE CISTC Technical Recognition Award, and the SUNY Chancellor’s Research Excellence Award. He also received the Sigma Xi/IIT Research Excellence Award in 2012 and the NSF CAREER Award in 2011. He has published more than 400 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He has received several Best Paper Awards and a Test of Time Paper Award, including IEEE ICDCS’20, ACM MobiSys’20, IEEE INFOCOM’20, IEEE Globecom’19, ChinaCrypt’18, ACM ASIACCS’18, ICPADS’18, IEEE ICDCS’17, IWQoS’17, and ICNP’11. According to Google Scholar, his H-index is 96, and his total citations have exceeded 50,000. He is a Fellow of ACM and IEEE. He currently serves as an area/associate editor for ACM Trans. On Cyber Physical Systems, IEEE Trans. on Dependable and Secure Computing, IEEE Trans. on Service Computing, IEEE Trans. on Networking, IEEE Trans. on Mobile Computing, IEEE Wireless Communications, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and Computer Networks.

Prof. Willy Susilo

Affiliation: University of Wollongong, Australia

Biography

Willy Susilo is a Distinguished Professor at the School of Computing and Information Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences at the University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia. He holds the most prestigious Australian Laureate Fellowship awarded by the Australian Research Council. He is the director of Institute of Cybersecurity and Cryptology, School of Computing and Information Technology, UOW. He is an IEEE Fellow, an IET Fellow, an ACS Fellow and an AAIA Fellow. Previously, he was awarded the prestigious Australian Research Council Future Fellowship in 2009. He has published more than 500 papers in journals and conference proceedings in cryptography and network security. In 2016, he was awarded the ``Researcher of the Year” at UOW, due to his research excellence and contributions. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Information journal and the Special Content Editor of the Elsevier’s Computer Standards and Interfaces. He is also serving as an Associate Editors in several international journals, including IEEE Transactions. He has also served as the program committee member of several international conferences.

Prof. Yang Xiang

Affiliation: Swinburne University of Technology, Australia

Biography

Yang Xiang is currently a full professor and the Dean of Digital Research, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. At Swinburne he is driving the university digital research strategy and leading a group of talented researchers to help industry partners solve domain problems via digital transformation and innovation. He founded the Swinburne's Digital Research Innovation Capability Platform to develop digital technologies and translates these into real-world applications. Professor Xiang provides strategic and expert advice to both private and public sectors in Australia, working closely with clients on matters ranging from strategic planning to operational reviews and risk management as well as implementing major initiatives and projects. He is also leading the Blockchain initiatives at Swinburne. His personal research interests include cyber security, which covers network and system security, data analytics, distributed systems, and networking. In the past 20 years, he has published more than 300 research papers in many international journals and conferences. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the SpringerBriefs on Cyber Security Systems and Networks. He serves as the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and ACM Computing Surveys. He is the Coordinator, Asia for IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Distributed Processing (TCDP), and the Chair of the Australia and New Zealand, IEEE Blockchain Technical Community. He is a Fellow of the IEEE.

Prof. Wanlei Zhou

Affiliation: City University of Macau, Macao, China

Biography

Professor Wanlei Zhou is currently the Vice Rector (Academic Affairs) and Dean of Faculty of Data Science, City University of Macau, Macao SAR, China. He received the B.Eng and M.Eng degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China in 1982 and 1984, respectively, and the PhD degree from The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia, in 1991, all in Computer Science and Engineering. He also received a DSc degree (a higher Doctorate degree) from Deakin University in 2002. Before joining City University of Macau, Professor Zhou held various positions including the Head of School of Computer Science in University of Technology Sydney, Australia, the Alfred Deakin Professor, Chair of Information Technology, Associate Dean, and Head of School of Information Technology in Deakin University, Australia. Professor Zhou also served as a lecturer in University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, a system programmer in HP at Massachusetts, USA; a lecturer in Monash University, Melbourne, Australia; and a lecturer in National University of Singapore, Singapore. His main research interests include security, privacy, and distributed computing. Professor Zhou has published more than 500 papers in refereed international journals and refereed international conferences proceedings, including many articles in IEEE transactions and journals. Prof Zhou is an IEEE Fellow.

There are two types of registration for Inscrypt 2025: Author and Attendee.
At least one author for each accepted paper must complete an Author Registration before the registration due (September 15, 2025), in order for the paper to be included in the conference proceedings.
